CLEANINESS AND HYGIENE CAMP

From August 1st to 15th, the Rohini region of the National Capital Region (NCR) witnessed an inspiring drive towards cleanliness and hygiene led by the India Aids NGO. This initiative, known as the Swachhta Pakwada, aimed to raise awareness and encourage active participation in keeping the surroundings clean and green.

The India Aids NGO organized various activities throughout the two-week period to engage the community in the cleanliness drive. Volunteers conducted cleanliness drives in public spaces such as parks, streets, and marketplaces, removing litter and promoting waste segregation practices. They also organized awareness campaigns, educating residents about the importance of maintaining cleanliness for personal health and environmental sustainability.

In addition to physical clean-up activities, the NGO facilitated workshops and seminars on waste management techniques, composting, and recycling. These sessions aimed to empower individuals with practical knowledge and skills to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.

The Swachhta Pakwada received widespread support and participation from residents, local authorities, and businesses in the Rohini region. Together, they worked towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment for all.

The drive also served as a reminder of the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges. By fostering a sense of community responsibility and ownership, the India Aids NGO hopes to inspire long-term behavior change and make Rohini a shining example of cleanliness and hygiene in the NCR.

As we reflect on the success of the Swachhta Pakwada, let us reaffirm our commitment to maintaining cleanliness and preserving our environment for future generations. With continued efforts and collaboration, we can build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable world for all.
