CLASS ON PLASTIC SEGREGATION

On December 27th, 2023, IndiaAids NGO, in collaboration with Jan Shakti Sansthan and the Ministry of Skill Development, hosted an impactful event focused on spreading awareness about plastic segregation. Held with the dedication of our members and volunteers, the day was filled with informative sessions, interactive workshops, and a shared commitment to environmental responsibility.

The event highlighted the crucial importance of plastic segregation, not just for environmental sustainability but also for the well-being of our communities. Plastic pollution is a global crisis, and India faces its own unique challenges. By segregating plastic waste at source, we can significantly reduce its environmental impact and contribute to a cleaner, healthier future.

However, awareness alone is not enough. The event went beyond simply informing participants about the "why" of plastic segregation. Through engaging workshops led by experts from Jan Shakti Sansthan and the Ministry of Skill Development, our members and volunteers gained practical knowledge on the "how" of segregation. They learned about different categories of plastic, effective segregation techniques, and responsible disposal methods.

This knowledge will empower our volunteers to become changemakers within their communities. They can now educate others about the importance of plastic segregation, share best practices, and even organize local drives to collect and manage plastic waste responsibly.

The collaboration with Jan Shakti Sansthan and the Ministry of Skill Development further amplified the reach and impact of this initiative.

Together, let's turn awareness into action and build a cleaner, healthier future for all.
